A poem, if you can stomach it

I wrote this poem within the past few months and although it is out of my usual genre and could very well be described as horror/macabre I would like to share it here. If you can stomach the poem itself and read it I wouldn't mind to maybe discuss it as I view it as more of a transgressive piece than just my muse being a sicko.

Lullaby for the Suicidal Children

Don't worry love, close your eyes and fall asleep
For then the monsters will come to creep.
They'll kill your parents and eat your dog,
Suffocate your siblings and poison your frog.
But you won't hear a thing, dear
For they've already snipped off your ears.
And before they burn the house,
They pick you up and throw you out.
To have more fun with you later.

Sleep now, for when you wake up
Your body will be caked in blood
And everyone you knew is dead
Beside you is you best friends head
The gore creates a certain reek
As you hear the floorboards creak
They're coming back to get you.

In your dreams you do not see
The town drowned in a bloody sea
While madness takes the land
You couldn't give a damn
As you've no clue
What will ensue
When you awaken.
Your life's been taken
And all that's left
Is a treble cleft
That sings, "The end is nigh"
All through your sleepy sigh.

Like I said, usually my poetry is not this morbid but personally I think it addresses two ideas, first the nightmarish things we may associate with the night when we sleep. And secondly how you'd tell a child a lullaby to help them sleep and if the child's suicidal than they would not want to wake up, so you'd tell them a lullaby sort of like this.

It's so cool. My poems are weird and form themselves, and don't make a whole lot of sense. but yours are awesome. ^_^

And thank you Kia =3 Some of mine are like that and make little sense while others come out as meaningful as this. I'm sure yours are good too and I'd like to read some sometime~
