Gentle Grove
Gentle Grove is named so because it is a large grove of trees and open space, filled with flowers, grass, moss, and many other plants. Because of all the flowers, there are hummingbirds and butterflies everywhere. Animals gather here in large numbers, even predators, but do not hunt in respect to the fairies. Sunlight filters in through gaps in the trees to warm sections of moss and grass and rocks. A small pond has frogs and fish. There are three large, old trees that have branches so large the cover most of the sky, reaching out to intertwine themselves with the other trees. These three trees have been around since the existence of fairies, and are enchanted. The one with the thickest trunk and darkest wood, Yamiki, has the largest memory, and remembers every question and birth and argument and detail that ever happened. The thinnest trunked one, Hikariki, with spindly branches, is the smartest, knowing the answer to as many riddles and questions and all other logic puzzles you can present. He also keeps track of all the creatures. The third one, Akaki, who is not as wide as Yamiki nor as spindly as Hikariki, is redder than cherrywood, and is the Wisest, most understanding of them all. These three stand back to back, roots intertwining underground, joining them together, in a sense. They hold many fairy houses in their branches, as this is the fairies main home, although houses may be made elsewhere.
